Could someone help us Out-of-towners find a nice place to stay in T'ville? Any B&B's? Is Ryan's Inn still the best place to get a room?
Angela J. replied:
For anyone that is interested, my parents have a gift certificate for the Market St. Inn (B&B) in Tville that they are giving away. It's for 'buy one night get one night free'. You would have to stay in the 'Rose' or 'Lilac' room. If you are interested let me me know. The B&B contact info is as follows. 217-824-7220www.marketstreetinn.com
I haven't been to T'ville in quite some time. What hotel options are there for us out-of-towners?

Market Street Inn is a very nice bed & breakfast. After that, I'd say probably the Super 8. Not fancy, but should be clean and comfortable. 29 West by the high school may also be ok, but I've not seen their rooms.

Kathy, Market Street Inn is the Newcom's old house!
Joanie P. replied:
Hey Kathy, I've stayed in all of the T'ville motels. Theu options are not good -- sorry to be so blunt. The Market Street Inn is a B&B that I heard is pretty nice. [http://www.marketstreetinn.com]. I've not stayed overnight but there was a brunch there one year for one of the reunions so did see the downstairs area. Antique decorated - but it's small and ya gotta book early.
