  I'm a professional photographer and i find fstop to print very dark compared to how i entended the image to be...i know you said in town, but www.walljoy.ca is great. You order online and they mail em. Also out of town but costco is good.

The photographer I used gave me a website I could try, but the shipping alone was $14 and I don't even know that they'd turn out. Would prefer somewhere close, that way I can print a couple and see how they turn out.

  You could try www.walljoy.ca. It's a consumer division of a professional photo lab. Also, www.pikto.com would be another good place. They are both a higher price point, but like others have mentioned, you will get what you pay for. Big box stores generally use lesser quality products, meaning your images won't last the same as if you order through your photographer. These are important and precious memories that you want to be there to enjoy for years to come. Trust me, a good lab is totally worth the investment :)
