About us
Blind Brothers Arizona (The Originals) has been dressing windows throughout Arizona for more than 40 years. Our team includes an interior designer to help you chose the best window coverings for your space; professional installers to precisely measure and cleanly install your blinds, drapes or shutters; and customer service before, during and after the sale.  We carry only American Made products from Hunter Douglas and Lafayette. Our downtown Prescott showroom displays a variety of styles, colors and textures for you to experience before we come out to your home or office. We also have more than 15,000 fabrics to choose from for drapes and custom bedding. We’re proud to be local and support our community by giving back to non-profits and organizations that make our area so great! Make sure to look for Arizona in our name!Â

Their team responds very quickly from the initial request for a home or business inquiry into window coverings, expert advice on product as well as color. Both times they measured all windows considered for our project, gave an instant price quote, estimated time for delivery without ever any pressure whatsoever. Only suggestions and the rest is up to the customer. All the colors were excellent choices and could not have been selected without the assistance and expertise of Jana. The window coverings were delivered when they quoted a date and delivery was set very quickly. The instillation is always prompt, CLEAN, and the team is as professional as one could hope for. On both of the instillations, we had a very small tweak that needed to be made, and the team again, Eric was prompt with both the prompt return call to setting up the appointment for the small adjustments. I was told the shutters would take away from the custom craftsman wood trim and headers i had built around the windows and doors of my home. I was told a type of roman blind would be better and enhance the trim by their designer. She told me they would be bright white and the sample she showed me was pretty. The blinds got here and were installed quickly. As soon as i saw them i was heartbroken. They are a dirty beige due to the backing and we have zero privacy when they are open. I cannot work in my office for several hours a day because the sun comes right through them and blinds me. I so wish i had stuck to my guns and got the shutters I wanted which would allow us privacy and sun filtering. I so regret this purchase and wish i had gone to Lowe’s where they would have given me what i wanted and not something I didn’t.Was this review helpful to you?

I have Hunter Douglas shutters and I can say that at my previous home I did use Budget and my shutters had no defects. These do. I believe Hunter Douglas to be over rated.
