Dog sitting/or boarding (overnight) Yes I have heard of Google!
But I'm looking for personal recommendations for overnight dog boarding in Calgary. (He is a medium-large breed, 70 lbs if that's important).
I know some places are more expensive than others, I'm looking for lower-priced ones (Xmas is approaching, also I'm not rich by any means). I'd be looking for somewhere that would be willing to take my dog on a 2 night basis at a time. Location in the city isn't super important.

I've used BowDog in the SE and wouldn't hesitate to use them again (owner was a Top 40 Under 40 this year), and that's a common consensus among many dog-owner friends (of both large and small dogs). Have heard great things about Dawg Tired, too, but can't vouch personally. Not sure either of these are the low cost options, but when it comes to pet care, I'm happy to pay if it means they're safe and secure. I know BowDog will tour you around in the afternoon if you want to check out the facilities and routine first. http://www.bowdog.ca/
Looking for a dog daycare recommendation. I live in the Lakeview area and work downtown. Looking for a good dog daycare recommendation for a high energy dog. Preferably a place with reasonable prices.

http://www.bowdog.ca/ Have sent my dog here and know other friends who regularly use daycare, boarding, and walking services with no complaints. Owner was also just named a top 40 under 40.
After seeing a similar post on doggy daycare, any recommendations for doggy boarding? Going on vacation this month and first time boarding our dog in Calgary. Looking for a place with green spaces and lots of playtime.

We use BowDog. We started with them when they were Calgary Dog Walkers, and have stayed with them through the years. We use both their dog walking service and kennel. The kennel is near Chinook Center, and while it doesn't have 'green space', there is a huge indoor space and fenced outdoor space with lots of neat apparatus for the dogs to play on. You can take a tour to check it out if you call ahead. I think they also have a first time customer deal on - 50% off for first time customers. http://www.bowdog.ca/ They are also associated with AARCS (we board our AARCS fosters there for free when we are out of town), which is awesome.
