Good restaurants on the island or in Jacksonville to go for a birthday!? Thanks!

Brett's Waterway Cafe, downtown on the docks has good food at a good food price (not cheap--but reasonable), decent ambiance and you can eat while looking out over the water. Peppers Mexican Cantina on Center Street if you like good TexMex, good party atmosphere, not romantic, not ambient, but good food and a good price. Ciao, a great little Italian bistro type place, downtown on Center street, great food, a bit crowded--but food is worth the crowd. Reasonable price for good food. David's down on 8 th street---gourmet food, ambient, fine dining atmosphere. Priced appropriately for the food they serve. 4 Seasons Bistro, just off the Island is small, ambient lighting, fabulous food--with a Greek influence. 474305 East State Road 200, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034 (904) 310-6821 Sliders, on the beach off Fletcher---great food, (LOVE their shrimp!) reasonably priced, often have live music. Sandy Bottoms on Main Beach off Fletcher, fabulous hot wings, dance floor with planned music activities on some nights. If you have a copy of the Island Magazine, there is always a list of eating places in there with a short write up. Really, so many places, can't list them all here. Happy birthday, and where ever you go---EAT CAKE!
