  I found a website called 'howtomendit.com'. my oven light and fan were working, but not the clock or the heat. a miracle man had posted that it would be fixed if you remove the thermostat and put it in the freezer for a half hour and then replace it. amazingly, it did, and the electrician who had told me I needed a new oven just scratched his head in disbelief. ah, the power of the internet.
