  Does anyone know any decent computer repair places in Birmingham? My Girlfriend's Laptop appears to have a power connector issue (The DC in Jack on the MoBo). I've taken it into the PC repair shop in Aston Uni, to be told that there is damage to the MoBo itself, and he's not willing to make the repair as a result. I've asked for evidence to back up this claim, just in case I'm being fobbed off. Failing that, does anyone know anywhere that is reliable, and good value for money?

  I go to Access Computers on Bearwood road I've never had any trouble with them and the price is pretty good. They're only a small business they don't have a website or anything but their number is 0121 429 5558. I must say though that laptop problems can be expensive to fix and if it's old its often better/cheaper to just go and buy a new one. Also another commentor suggested PC World but I wouldn't go with them they'll charge a lot for labour as well as for over-priced parts to repair the computer
