  At NVCSS the outreach program focuses on assisting people to find affordable and safe housing (rentals) in Vanderhoof. The only shelter is the Safe Home for Women. There are no other places in the community, the closest is n Prince George and even that is very limited, Sean Lehmann. You can call the worker with the program at 250-567-9205, to find out if there is any room and board available in town, if it is a temporary stay that is being looked for. Or if it's to find something permanent, feel free to also call the office - as that's the role of the worker, to assist those struggling to find accomodation.

  I am wanting to find 2 things if anyone can help me: One is that I am looking for a couple of dump truck loads of cut firewood-hubby had heart surgery and getting our winter wood is difficult this year as he can't use the chainsaw for a few months and I am also looking for who ever sells loads of shavings.
