Danish camp or RSBP with kids? Is there a cafe in both?
Geoffrey W. replied:
Phone them. 01234 838709. Also they are on Facebook.
Natalie S. replied:
Only cafe at Danish camp I think. They sometimes have a bouncy castle too. Check out rspb website for any activities they may be running for kids. Plus Danish camp free parking, rspb is £4 I think unless you're a member!
Nicki S. replied:
There is a shop and ice creams etc in RSPB. Danish camp is great for a long walk type day out. RSPB is great for more of an adventure walk, climbing etc in the woods.
Kaz W. replied:
Danish camp not suitable for small children as it is on the river
Geoffrey W. replied:
Danish Camp for tea and homemade cakes on a terrace overlooking the river.
Moira J. replied:
A few years ago my daughter and friend cycled to Danish camp they would not serve them in the cafe with cold drinks as they were under sixteen and didn't have a parent with them not sure if this is still the ruling in there.
Lucy W. replied:
Where did you end up? We are big fans of both...Danish Camp is great for scooters or bikes and the cafe is a bonus! But the kids always have an amazing time at the Rspb, great variety of easy walks and the garden is great for hide and seek! And no cafe can be good as it means spending less money! Especially if you get Rspb membership, then it is a free morning or afternoon out. They don't seem to put on as many events for small children as they used to though which is a shame.
Shani G. replied:
Danish camp has a better cafe but rspb is more interesting for kids.
