RV was solid and the national chain thing offers you tow-in support anywhere, but the RV's are anything but modern, and driving some of the older ones can be a little much if you are trepidation behind the wheel of a 3 ton vehicle. There were other rental options out there that looked more appealing (you wont find them til you hit an RV park and get talking to folks - KOA's are nice) If renting in Austin, this place looks positive: http://www.yelp.com/biz/rolling-vacation-rv-rental-austin Having rented here, I highly recommend flying to your rental. Starting with "10 hours til the state line" really kills some first impressions :)

They have a burner package and are in Johnson creek and 76 th -ish. So burner friendly infact that one of their employees showed me where the best stash spots were. 3200 including gas for a 30 footer. It was a little more beat up than cruise America, but clean.
