I am curious if anyone has been mistreated by, or has a similar story, regarding Mother Duck Learning Center. My wife and I began looking for infant daycare to begin in January 2016 this past April because we had heard how fast spots are filled in advance. We visited a few centers, did our due diligence, and decided Mother Duck was the best fit for our family based on education type, location, and price. We went ahead and reserved a spot in April by signing a contract and paying a deposit to hold our place. Today, more than 6 months later, we received a call saying they were overbooked and no longer had a spot for us for January, and the best they could do was put us on the waiting list, or to start in April. This obviously does not work as we need daycare starting in January! We are now left scrambling to find daycare that is close to home and reasonably priced.
We had seen many positive reviews about Mother Duck, and only one negative; that this exact same thing happened to another family. I’m just wondering if anyone has a similar story and/or if this is how Mother Duck operates their business. We are very disappointed and hope this hasn’t happened to anyone else.
