Self defense courses for men? My husband, who has been fairly sedentary since he retired, was attacked last week when he was walking home from the grocery store after he yelled at someone who almost ran him over while he was crossing the street.
It apparently escalated from there, and the person then got back in his car but followed him continuing to make threats.( he only apparently stopped because someone on the other side of market came over to intervene)
Anyway.
Looking for a self defense class, martial arts, whatever might be useful to give him some confidence and control.
Northwest Seattle.
Any thoughts on Muay Thai or Wing Chun?
Western Washington Gunsmith I am in need of a gunsmith to thread a barrel on a CZ 527 in 22 Hornet. Any suggestions/recommendations would be appreciated.

I confidently use the guy at West Coast Armory, in Bellevue. You can call them at 425-641-2877
Seattle Smith? A friend who lives in Seattle wants someone to open the load port and do a little shell catch smoothing on his versamax. They aren't willing to do it themselves. Anybody know a gunsmith who will do that kind of work in the Seattle area?

I'd call [West Coast Armory](http://www.westcoastarmory.com/), or [LowPrice](http://www.lowpriceguns.com/). Wade's dicked me over on something. It was minor and trivial, but I don't appreciate it, and will never send business their way. I have other friends who have similar complaints about them.
Does anyone know of a retailer with 5.56 NATO locally with decent prices? I can order more online, but would prefer to support local and save on shipping if it is competitively priced.

Seattle Gunnitors what are your range and gun store recommendations? Looking for a good range to shoot at and store to get my first gun
saddlewaffle replied:
Store: West Coast Armory and their affiliate range Range:[Bellevue Gun Club](http://www.westcoastarmory.com/) (Indoor) and [Issaquah Sportsmen's Club](http://www.issaquahsportsmensclub.com/)(Outdoor) I used to shoot at Wades, but after discovering Bellevue Gun Club I got a membership there right away. The BGC range also has a small-medium selection of firearms, but their affiliate store in Issaquah has a lot more. And the best part about West Coast Armory is their prices are comparable to lowpriceguns and they're willing to price match.

As previously mentioned, I recommend West Coast Armory (they have an Issaquah and Bellevue location) for purchases, *especially* Issaquah. The staff are friendly, and willing to talk to you about anything at all you need to know, answer any questions, and help you with any self-projects you are doing. Their gunsmith Terry is a fantastic guy who will give you a straight answer to any question, and lead you to what will work best for the price, even if it means a lower overall sale amount for him. And for ranges, I go to the Issaquah Sportsman's Club outdoor range for my rifle and pistols during the summer, and the West Coast Armory indoor range for pistols in the winter.
