Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone could offer me some advice. I'm an equine photographer, and thinking about getting a better camera. What would be the best camera for me (I prefer Canon, but other suggestions are welcome) and which lenses would be better?
I need something that is perfect for sport as well as portraits, and I can't have fragile since dust and horrible extreme weather is part of the equine world.
And a camera that overheats is completely out of the question - I stand in the scorching sun for up to 8 hours and take photo's non stop.
I also have to be able to take about 30 shots in 50 seconds with horses that jumps with super speed between 1 and 10 meters away from me, and I have to have a lense that does not require changing for those jumps.
Currently I have a Canon EOS1100D (since 2008) with 75mm lense and 55-300mm, which I always had to change every 30 seconds, which is why I require advice on a general lense that would be better. It's a great camera since it has never broken down or overheated and has survived the worst weather.
Thanks in advance!
