Vet recommendations? DTLA/K-Town (I'd go further out for a good vet though) My basset hound won't stop dragging his butt on the ground so it's time to go to a vet. Anybody have any advice on who to see or who to avoid?

Your dog could just need an anal gland expression or they could have worms. I'd still suggest a vet to find out which. I take mine to [Washington Dog & Cat Hospital](http://washingtondogandcathospital.com/)
Anyone have any suggestions for a vet downtown they like?

I go to Washington Dog & Cat Hospital about a 15 minute drive from downtown https://www.facebook.com/washington.d.hospital

I second Alisa Rivera 's recommendation of Washington Dog & Cat Hospital. They saved my friend's cat as well as my Wonton. Dr. Marks and Dr. Wong are wonderful, but I'd trust any of their vets.
Can anyone suggest a low cost vet in the DTLA or LA Area? Been going to VCA, and although they are aight- they seem to businessy for my liking. Thanks in advance :)

I second the recommendation for Washington Dog & Cat Hospital. One of my cats needs monthly steroid shots and they are thorough, kind and reasonably priced. Love them.

I had a weird experience at Washington Dog & Cat Hospital. I had an appointment and still waited an hour and then waited another hour to get through the check up and test. Everyone seemed nice there, but it felt like a huge mess to me.

Jamie, that's so odd. Every time I take Wonton to Washington Dog & Cat Hospital , the staff drops what they're doing to coo over him and smother him with TLC. Although all the vets and staff have been great (they're all pet owners/lovers), I can't say enough about Dr. Angie Wong and Dr. Marks - they truly go above and beyond to make sure your pet is happy and healthy.
