  Hi Ramsay neighbours. I am hoping to get some advise on a plumber. So the city has been out a few times to my place about the sewer lines. They tried to flush the line which resulted in water backing up into the basement. A video of the line that was done a few years ago shows a displacement in the line on my property close to the house. Yesterday they couldn't even get equipment into the line and were pulling up clay...yikes! Chances are I need to replace the whole line as the line also has bellies and low spots on both my property and the city (they will repair their portion) The city was really nice and helpful but they aren't supposed to make suggestions on who to call. So....that brings me here. I am thinking with all of the homes being around the same age someone else has had this work done and can recommend something/someone. Thanks in advance, Sheila

  We had issues that sound similar years back. We had a guy that did a great job for us, as it was tricky getting in between the houses. I believe he retired, but I can suggest Paul Mirtle at Above the Bar Plumbing as a good bet. 403-830-6243. www.abovethebarplumbing.ca. As you know the city side is their responsibility and would be no charge. It's a major job if your side needs the work. Hope this helps.
