Hello guys I am currently developing a family house in London to have 8 bedsits, with all rooms to have their own small kitchen and ensuite. My goal is to provide a very high quality accommodation. This is the first time I'm doing this so I would appreciate any advice :)
My questions are:
1. Do you know a very good mortgage broker who can help find a lender willing to lend on the property? I already own the property and it is on a normal BTL mortgage. I need to remortgage it with a suitable mortgage when the development is finished
2. Do you know an insurance broker who specialises in this kind of property?
3. With regards to washing machines, would you recommend having one in each bedroom or should I build a building in the garden and get a couple of commercial washing machines and a dryer. I would charge £1 perhaps for the tenants to use the washing machines and dryer.
4. With regards to bills, I am planning to use a company called Glide. It is a company that bills tenants separately so it takes away the stress from the landlord in adding the bills to the rent. Has anyone have experience with Glide? Would you recommend a different way to sort the bills out?
5. Any advice or comments that you can give that we have not considered?
