I'm going to clean up the hub and see if it can be made to work, if it does I might consider having it re-laced into a new rim for possible future use. Does anyone here build wheels or know someone who does? might be interested to hear.. I've also often had it in my head to do a Nexus hub-gear conversion on a regular bike so at some point I'll need someone to do this. Cheers

  There's a wheel builder in East Kent called [Harry Rowland](http://www.harryrowland.co.uk/) who has an extremely good reputation. He won't build something unless he's 100% confident in it, which upsets some people, but I've never heard of anyone having problem with wheels he's built.
