About us
Serena Scaglione has dedicated her life to a world of teaching and healing, inspiring women and men to awaken into their bodies, move from their souls and shine from their hearts! Her passionate nature has led her down many different rivers of creativity, investing her heart in animation/graphic design, circus arts, performance, yoga and healing arts. She is a twice certified Hoop Dance Instructor, certified Danyasa Yoga Instructor (a fusion of Vinyasa Yoga and Expressive Dance), certified AcroYoga Instructor and licensed massage therapist with a focus on Thai Massage, Somassage and Structural Integration.
Serena has traveled to Thailand 5 times and has had the opportunity to study Thai massage with some master teachers and healers. Her love of healing arts brought her to the Soma Institute in Buckley WA, where she dove deep into Structural Integration and Somassage. Her intention is to offer healing touch, inspire self-reliance and a greater sense of trust within our own bodies.
AcroYoga has taken her passion for play, creativity and flow to all new heights! Her adventurous spirit and love of world travel has brought her offerings to a global level. She is very excited to help grow the AcroYoga community here in Portland and share this magic with as many souls she can touch! It has been a powerful and transformative practice for her.
Both her AcroYoga and Hoop Dance classes focus on self-love, tapping into your inner child, taking care of your temple, celebrating your health and existence, and the knowing that you already have everything you need to feel good! She teaches from the heart, and you can feel her love and dedication in her presence. She invites you to let go and come PLAY!!!
