  Sara asks: have a few questions my first question is is it normal for you take your child to the doctor for them to always look at your sons penis and if so why are they looking at his penis? my second question is it appropriate for the doctors to ask if you have family support and if the father is in the picture ? and also if there is any doctors that anyone recommend thats good for a child that isn't going to make me feel like I'm a bad parent or something because my child is sick and I am stressed out because I have a sick child so they don't end up trying to question my authority??

  However, with all the other comments said, IF your doctor makes you feel uncomfortable and steals your confidence, then by all means you are absolutely allowed to switch to another doctor. One who supports you and makes you feel heard.   Becca asks: I'm moving to the area in July and someone referred me to your page :) I'm in the hunt for a good pediatrician for my 9 month old. She has some complex feeding issues (we'll be seeing the GI docs at Children's a few weeks after we move) and I'm planning on spacing out her immunizations. I want a doctor who won't rush immediately to medications and will be willing to listen to my opinions but will also not be shy of pursuing medication if it is truly the best option. Any help you have is greatly appreciated!
