Our main production line is raw milk that comes from grass-fed cows and delivered to you in a glass bottle as fresh and clean as we can possibly bring it.
We have taken measures in the health and care of the bovine to bottle in order to provide the safest raw milk possible!
THE PROCESS INVOLVED IN PRODUCING OUR RAW MILK
1. We have taken an approach to the milk cow to minimize her stress level in the body by not feeding exuberant amounts of grain to produce massive amounts of milk. This also goes for feeding them excessively rich forages like premium hay and ensiled forages. 2. Cleanliness of cows, they are being kept as clean as they can possibly be, whether it be the alleys they walk in, the stalls they bed down in, or the pathways to the pastures and the pastures themselves. 3. Cleanliness of the milking parlor, milk house and processing room equipment and procedures’ for harvesting and moving the milk through the equipment systems to the final product. 4. USDA, State rules and regulations for required testing of the animals and equipment including testing of the final product. 5. Strict hygiene and cleanliness when harvesting the milk form the cows. 6. Milk is cooled within 10 minutes from 98 degrees to about 38 degrees. 7. The milk is packages on-site in glass bottles, ½ gallon only. 8. Remember this is a whole product with nothing removed or added to it. 9. If you are not accustomed to drinking raw milk every day, your body needs to become conditioned to the natural elements in the cow’s milk. Start with smaller amounts like 6-8 ounces for a few days first. 10. Keep refrigerated; do not leave out for prolonged period of time!
