He is also terrified of dentists and therefore our dentist referred us on to a paediatric specialist, as he would need treatment under general anaesthetic . We have seen one, who was great, but the cost would be around $3000 with Heath cover only taking off $500. So looking for somewhere to go for a second oppion. Any recommendations will be appreciated TIA

  Have you tried the Fairy Dentist at Labrador - I had a referral to a paediatric dental specialist for my daughter and it was going to cost the earth, I took her to them and they removed the tooth there and then. http://www.tfidentistry.com.au/

  Libby Tasker. Hi does anyone know of a good dentist that is great with young kids. I have a 6 year old that needs a tooth extraction. I tried to have it done today but unfortunately our usual dentist does not have happy gas and couldn't get her relaxed enough to finish numbing the tooth. We got a referral to a pediatric dentist in Brisbane for tomorrow but its going to cost almost $1000 to get it done and it's hard to come up with that kind of money so close to Christmas.   My son goes to TFI dentistry at Biggera Waters/ Labrador. They have a dentist dressed up as the tooth fairy and she is amazing with kids.
