Can anyone recommend somebody who is good for muscular back pain. I had a sports massage 5 days ago and my back is still in agony, going into spasm.

I can very highly recommend visiting the students at the British School of Osteopathy, they sorted out my persistent hip pain and corrected my posture: http://www.bso.ac.uk/
URGENT - Calling North London People.. Please can you HELP! I've pulled my back out and my amazing, miracle-working osteopath doesn't have an appointment until 13th AUGUST!! Can anyone PLEASE recommended someone in the meantime? Cheers

As Liam Dillon says above, the British School of Osteopathy are absolutely brilliant and relatively cheap because you are seen by a final year student under supervision of a qualified Osteopath. Can't recommend them highly enough. Although they are in Borough High St. they are pretty easy to get to and will see you very quickly too. Hope you get well soon.xxx they are here http://www.bso.ac.uk/

Does anyone know of a decent osteopath, ideally one who offers a free initial consultation?

BSO is brilliant - bythe fire station in Southwark - they are learning - with supervision but very good value and actually explain things in way you can understand - http://www.bso.ac.uk/.../how-to-make-an-appointment-at.../
