  All this nice weather is getting me in the BBQ mood, until I realised with bowketts gone I won't be able to get quality meat and shop made sausages in different varieties.... So, anyone know a butchers not to far away that could replace the bowketts quality products? I used to get huge ribs with loads and of meat, at least 10 different kinds of sausage and dried smoked back bacon that had been so well cured you could almost eat it raw.

  Becketts Farm in Wythall - the best carvery in the world AND they have responded to my email regarding your plight and have said they would be happy to accomodate you and your son (although they do state that they do chicken breast goujons and not reformed chicken nuggets!) - They suggest you phone beforehand to book a table. www.beckettsfarm.co.uk 01564 823 402.
