  I know this is a shot in the dark but does ANYONE know the cheapest way to get a house plan revised? We have a house plan picked out but we need some things moved around. It's an extra cost through the company to do this (almost half the plan cost). Would it be cheaper to talk to an architect or builder? We don't have an official builder because we are doing most of the work ourselves. I'm not sure if that even makes sense :/

  Yes, I would talk to an architect. You want to make sure that any changes do not negatively affect the actual building itself. An architect will be able to advise you at a reasonable charge.
