I started out in photography quite by accident although shooting lifestyles and events just came naturally. Back then I was shooting 35mm film to document where I was, whom I was with, and the experiences I was having. To me, it was about being able to look back on photos that I'd taken so I could relive the times with those people, being in those places, or an amazing sunset.
A short time later, I was shooting action sports and I was published nationally. One thing quickly lead to another and the next thing I knew, I was photographing a wide range of sports, people, events, and assignments; as well as being recognized for my wedding photography. Thirty-Three Photography was selected by TheKnot.com as a 2010 "Best Of Weddings" for wedding photographers in the VA, MD, and D.C. areas.
As a professional photographer, my passion for photography lies in being able to document the lifestyles and events that connect people, organizations, and businesses not only for the moment but also for posterity. It enables me to photograph everything from senior portraits, sports, and live performances to engagement sessions, weddings, and assignment work.
My approach has allowed me to share in one of the most important days in a person's life- their wedding day. It has also taken me to rural fishing villages in The Philippines, embedded me with the United States Marine Corps and fire fighters as they trained in live fire scenarios; and I'm still catching that amazing sunset but with newly engaged couples.
