While our for a run this morning I found something very distressing. Three little kittens likley less than 24 hours old left abadoned in a sack on the side of a road. I couldn't ignore their mews. Not knowing what else to do I picked them up looking for someone who could speak English and help me find a vet. Two ladies, bless their hearts, helped me out by phoning an agency in Ubed and taking them from me to deliver them to Ubed as I was unable to keep them due to work commitments every week in Singapore. The three little ones will likely not live beyond today, but with any hope they will have some compassion as they breath their last breaths. I've heard of people dumping kittems and puppies to leave them to die, but I have to say the experience of finding them is absolutely heart breaking. I understand why people are doing it, but I ask myself what can I do to help so that this doesnt' continue? Does anyone know the name of a reputable agency that is working to help counter this behaviour by offering neutering and/or spading of cats and dogs? I'd like to donate my time and some money. And to the two ladies that helped me out today, Thank you for your kindness and compassion!!
