My husband has been there quite often on business trip but this is our 1st vacation trip with family/kids (ages 11 and 3.5) and I would like to get any tips re amusement parks, entertainments places, shopping guide etc in Washington..need namely advises on leisure time, affordable hotels and shopping references for Washington, if any..and affordable place to stay in New York..may be some practical links to check out (trip advisor etc is done)..thanks!
