Anyone know some doctors in Tennessee who are experienced with trans patients and HRT? (specifically in the Nashville area?) I've been trying to find a doctor in the Nashville area to go to for HRT, any suggestions from people in my area? Or any advice on how you found the right doctor in your area would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm looking for a primary care doctor in the greater Grand Rapids area, or south, who's LGBTQ friendly. I had a great doc, but he moved.
I'm pansexual and polyamorous and would prefer that my doctor be at least non-judgmental.
Thanks!

Howdy, Martin! Thanks for joining the page and community. I've had good luck with everyone at St. Mary's network. Here is another resource to try. http://www.glma.org/
New York friends: It's time for me to find a doctor in NYC. Can you recommend a doc that you like, and please tell me why: friendly; smart beyond measure; no waiting in the office -- that kind of thing. I've got to make sure he/she takes my insurance (Emblem Health -- thank you, Obamacare!) but I trust my friends' judgements. Thanks!

Check out glma.org. Lists doctors who focus on gay and lesbian health :)
Hey New York Facebook Friends! We are looking for a new GP (General Practitioner) doctor in Manhattan. Preferably, it would like a gay male doctor. I know that might sound funny when reading it, but it makes things easier when you know they understand you. So please send any suggestions. THANKS! :)

Anyone have a good recommendation on a good primary care physician in the area? I'm looking for a new one that is definitely LGBT friendly.

Steve check out www.glma.org and see if they're database has any providers in your area. It's the GLMA: Gay and Lesbian Medical Association I worked for them in California and we had a provider database of LGBT Docs or at least friendly.
Hey folks -- I posted over 5 months ago that I was looking for LGBT friendly doctors/dentists/chiropractors .. etc etc etc... Not only for a couple of new people moving to own soon, but also we can update our resources on the Wilmington Pride website!! Thanks!!

Dear friends, I have a friend in medical school who is looking for a good rotation in HIV/AIDS and/or general infectious disease either in California (San Francisco) or Seattle or Portland areas... do any of you have suggestions for him, or do you know any MD/DO folks who may be able to help him out?
Diane B. replied:
I'd suggest starting with these 2 provider directories: GLMA.org (search HIV/AIDS) and AAHIVM.org. Of course, it helps when the student is also a member of the org...
