However, I need a little help. Does anyone know a reliable, reasonably priced place in the north-east for fence installation? We need to install some fences because we're worried he could be a flight risk. Also, recommendations for pet-insurance. Obviously we want to make sure he's safe and well looked after, but want to also be prepared for the worst. What have been people's experience with pet insurance in Adelaide?   If you actually visit the [RSPCA Pet Insurance]( https://www.rspcapetinsurance.org.au) page you can find out exclusions and policy details. On the main page it mentions that pre-existing conditions are excluded for a start, and that's before you even read the fine print. Be aware that you aren't buying from RSPCA, it's Hollard Financial Services who doing the policy, with a few cents commission to them. Nearly all insurance policies are rebranded to encourage you to buy them. I'm on dog's 5 and 6, and have not insured any of them. Take the advice several people offered and religiously set aside the money in a dedicated account.

  For anyone looking for pet insurance Id recommend looking past Medibank Pets. Their claim process and customer service is absolutely terrible. One month after making a claim for an emergency trip to the vet and 6 phone calls later, they are still "processing my request" and will not give me an outcome. Terrible terrible terrible!
