  Camping (cabin) recommendations? Planning my sons (3yo) first camping trip with his grandfather (65yo) and would like to find a cabin within an hour or two of Phoenix. Ideally have some easy hiking and fishing, maybe a creek worth swimming. Also like the idea of having a camp fire.

  You'll need to check this website for fire restrictions before starting a camp fire. There are already a lot of restrictions on camp fires in the state due to high fire danger, and they always seem to be adding more restrictions as summer progresses and it gets drier.   Anyone know a Good Phoenix Lawyer?? I was just ticketed for violating a fire ban after tubing down the Salt river for 6 hours in cold water, than starting a fire because we were shaking and extremely cold. Very poor planning but unnecessary in the situation we were in.

  http://firerestrictions.us/az/ Beginning May 22, pretty much all of AZ is under what they call phase 1 of a fire ban. It's serious considering how dry it gets here. I understand your situation, and I hate to say it, but it will go nowhere in court.
