Just wondering if anyone on this page can help/advise/point me in the right direction.
As some of you know, I have been in and out of QEH, KL several time over the last 18 months.
After my last experience last week, I posted a message about my experience on the QEH FB page. I guess I must have hit a nerve, as within an hour, it was removed! Now THAT was a surprise. I would have thought they would like to know the patients' side of the story, as they are supposed to be in 'Special Measures!'
So, my plea for help is - who can I contact re these Special Measures as I would like to put my point forward. I dread going in there and have actually refused to go three time this year alone, but my experiences when I have been incarcerated over the last 18 months, have all been the same - inedible food (cooking is a hobby of mine) I have had people say they couldn't face corn flakes and another toast! I have heard time and time again, that it's virtually impossible to get a decent night's sleep, uncomfortable beds and the night time noise, with phones ringing, alarms going off all the time and staff just chatting away on their experiences at home, their shift patterns and numerous other issues.
I kept a copy of the post I placed on the the QEH, FB page, knowing full well it would be removed. That's what I would like the authority that has put the hospital in Special Measures, to know from a patients point of view. I don't ever remember a patients view being asked.
HELP!!!!! Where do I go to help all those patients, both past and future. You go to hospital to rest and cure, not to get wound up!
Thanks for your patience.
PS. I've saved this post too!
