  Ride it, David! :-) Francois used to ride it from Ottawa and Deals Gap to California for the yearly ride. Rick from Mineapolis (if I rember correctly) to California for the same trip. Just saw "Long Way Round" where 2 friends ride 2 GS's from London to New York, the long way round. Very cool series: www.longwayround.com . You can order the DVD from Amazon, I can recommend it. If I were you I'd pick some nice places to see and take a few days to ride the PC home yourself. But that's just me :-). Emile
