All, to give you an update on our current status, we have $1196 left in our fund, with a couple of other donations possibly added. I won't be able to make another trip before the holiday season, so I'd like to get a conversation started about our next step. One idea that I had is that we could divide the remaining funds up among charities working in the areas affected by the storm. This is something we could execute within a day or two, once we determine the allocation of the funds. Or, in addition to the above or on its own basis, we could allocate some funds to a local family that we know. Or, if someone wants to organize a shopping trip, I can pass along the funds for any shopping that needs to be done. Please let me know if you have any suggestions...
