  FYI ~ the least expensive place is Animal Care Center at 1248 W. Washington 312-243-6655. $100 for neuter, pain injection and antibiotics. You cna pay additiona fees for pain meds, laser treatment, Elizabethian collar, complete CBC. But even all that together is less than $300. Thank you everyone for your help!!!

  @mary I agree there will never be another bridgeport vet prices n all!@Salina I go now to Animal Care Center 1248 w Washington mon-sun 312 243 6655- easy to get to . I like them Very much and so does my dog!!

S/O was just laid off and we have lost most of our savings and stupidly didn't plan for our cat getting sick. I'm looking for a low cost vet in the city, or even one that bills after the visit.. I'm really worried, he has never been sick, thanks everyone!

  A lot of vets will let you pay your bill after the fact and some will even let you do it payment plan style. I recently switched vets and now use [Animal Care Center](http://www.animalcarechicago.com/) because they were much more affordable than my last vet. Maybe check with them and see if they can help you? Best of luck with your cat! That is very scary.
