  Local friends- a Wee Play mom is looking for a reasonably priced preschool for her little one in our area. Herndon/Reston/Sterling/Great Falls. Play-based (opportunities for extended time in block play, creative art, imaginative play). Pre-literacy skills - writing, etc built in via play. True project-based learning a plus! Please suggest local preschools with this philosophy in comments. Thank you!

  Hunters Woods Cooperative Preschool definitely meets the criteria. Our website is www.hunterswoodspreschool.org. We have an open house coming up later this month, so it's a great time to visit and learn more.
