Jane & Mike offer excellent bed and breakfast in the centre of Slaithwaite offering tea &homemade cake upon arrival. There is a comprehensive choice for breakfast and good local restaurants are within five minutes walk (Jane is happy to book restaurants for you in advance). The location is ideal for light strolls along the canal or those wishing to walk on the moors. The Pennine Way is close, walkers can be met at the Redbrook Reservoir on the A62 and returned there with a packed lunch the following day.
Visiting this week, staying at Holme Valley caravan site for a few nights. Recommended eateries in Slowit please anyone?
Any activities local during the week this week please?
Any one like to meet up after nearly 45 yrs please? :)
I am looking for local bed and breakfast recommendations if anyone knows of any? Plus cottages that could be rented for a couple of nights. Thanks

If Slawit is local enough talk to Jane at spinning mill house. Andys mum always stays there. We've even booked to visit for afternoon tea and breakfast before now as our house is too small! Can't recommend highly enough. https://www.facebook.com/SPINNINGJANEY/
Anyone know of a reasonable hotel or B&B in Marsden? Or is it only for locals?

Just down the road in Slaithwaite, it's a great little place, my MIL stays there regularly and is really well looked after! https://m.facebook.com/SPINNINGJANEY

We've got a few people coming from further a field again to the next Funk & Soul club, could anybody recommend any accommodation / B&B's / Camp sites etc around Marsden? Cheers!
