I know that over the last three days there was a workshop on the quad, but wasn't able to get my bike down there, and I was wondering if there was a good place to take my bike for basic maintenance on the cheap.   The Bike Coop: http://thebikeproject.org/. There's one in the IMC in Urbana and one somewhere on campus. I think you have to pay a $25 membership fee, but I think the first time is free. All you have to pay for after that is parts, which are incredibly inexpensive. Technically, you have to do the repairs yourself, but there are always people very knowledgeable about bike repairs there to teach you.
