Basically, my father is in a dire mental state, and he needs to be in hospital for a couple months. He has a lovely dog and cat, and a strong bond with both. He can't lose them, it's paramount. They're very important for his mental health. He has a place for the dog, but nowhere for the cat. I already have 4 cats, one is very old, we can't take in another, it would cause too much chaos. I was hoping I could find some sort of cat boarding house, but I'm having no luck. Does anyone have any recommendations? You'd be really doing a good thing by helping here, we are people very much in need of aid, for a cat who's loved very much.

  Toronto Cat Rescue runs off of a network of foster homes. Maybe they would be willing to place your dad's cat until your dad is well enough to go home & bring them back again? www.torontocatrescue.ca

  A neighbour is taking his 2 yr old female cat to be put down if no one adopts or fosters it... can anyone please help? I'll cover food and spaying costs.... this is a very loving affectionate cat, his only reason is that he has 2 and just wants to keep the male. Rescue agencies haven't replied...
