Does anyone know anything about adolescent/transition age CTT? Such as how to make a referral, do I need a psychiatrist recommendation, and what services are included in the team? Stephanie Meyer I was thinking you might know
Stephanie M. replied:
Hi Carine! WPIC runs the specific transitional age team, and the other teams can take 18 and up. Consumers must have SPMI diagnosis, a GAF of 40 or below, a history showing that conventional treatment has been unsuccessful, and they will also look at h omelessness and/or forensic involvement, but the latter two are not required. Referrals usually go through the county Office of Behavioral Health in conjunction with AHCI (Allegheny Health Choices) http://www.ahci.org/ I'd consult with your supervisor first and see if they have a process. CTT has very specific criteria. Feel free to PM me if you'd like.
