  I'm taking suggestions for your favorite speech therapists in the Fort Wayne area. I'd prefer someone who has lots of experience with Down Syndrome clients; and if he/she also accepts insurance and/or CSHCS, that would be even better.

  I've been impressed with the therapists at Turnstone. Some of their therapists also work for First Steps. www.turnstone.org From their website: Turnstone’s pediatric therapeutic services include: physical, occupational, speech and aquatic therapy. Turn stone’s therapists are specialized in working with children with disabilities, including but not limited to spina bifida, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, stroke, Down syndrome, autism and other neurological and orthopeadic diagnoses. Therapy services may be billed to private insurance, Medicaid, First Steps, or CSHCS. However, a sliding fee scale is also available for those who qualify for subsidy.
