Hi, We are in need of some help. My daughter (a toddler) has the following allergies (all anaphylaxis): Soy, wheat, milk, fish, shell fish, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, apples and chicken. We just moved to a new area (military) and I am in desperate need of a good allergist, someone that is going to take the time to help me open up food options for her and have good beside manners in our area. I made an appointment at the local Children's Hospital and their first available appointment is at the end of JULY. We thought of driving 4/5 hours away to John Hopkins because I've heard that they have a good allergy research center (not sure if that is true). In any case John Hopkins doesn't have openings in pediatrics until the end of September. Does a toddler need to see a pediatric allergist or can she see any? I am trying to find foods that she can eat and without being able to consult an allergist it is really limiting, not to mention that I am afraid to feed her. Please help.
