Hey people! Who/what is the best driving instructor/school? I need to take some driving lessons before the test. Please share your suggestions. Thanks!

It ultimately depends on what 'best' means to you. AMA is one of the most expensive schools offering a basic course at $839.00+GST. If you are looking for a prestigious school, go AMA. If you are looking for 'best bang for your buck', look elsewhere. I went to Noble Driving School that offers a comparable course at $545+tax. If you are racist there might be a school where all instructors are white (can't advise you on this one). Keep in mind that in Edmonton, it works against you to be racist against Indians because the easiest area to take a road test is Millwoods and most examiners and road test instructors servicing the area are Indian. It boils down to your budget and how many lessons you need. If all you need is a 2-hour practice before the road test, you might consider handing over some $200 a pop to AMA for its name. If you need a lot of lessons AMA prices will be unreasonable for most people when so many schools around are willing to work for less.
