  My family and I just moved here from Indiana. Does anyone know of any summer camp type events for boys. Especially looking for my 12-year-old. I don't want him to go to far away but looking for something that is 1 to 2 weeks length long. Open to ideasof other events to get him involved in the summer. Any ideas welcome

  Do you want to have him in a day camp or a sleep away camp? We recently moved here from TX. I have a 12 year old boy too. He recently went to a weekend camp at Camp Widjiwagan, a YMCA camp in Antioch, TN. He loved it there and they offer multiple summer camps, both day camps and sleep-over camps. He and my daughter will go back for at least one week this summer. http://www.campwidji.org/.

  I am looking for horseback riding lessons for my 5 (almost 6) year old. We live closer to Nolensville, but I am willing to drive out a bit for a good place. I want her to not only learn how to ride a horse, but horse care and the general workings of a stable. Does anyone have any recommendations for someone who is willing and has the patience to work with smaller children? Thanks in advance! We are wanting to start lessons early spring.   Looking for some great SUMMER CAMP suggestions for a 13 year old boy? Does not have to be in Tennessee. Does need to be at least a week long. Would be great if it included lots of outdoorsy stuff, possibly fine arts or theatre. Looking for a goof fit for Jonathan this summer. Would love some unique ideas. Thanks!

  Both girls went to camp Widjiwagan. It's a Christian camp outside of Nashville with all outdoor activities. It has excellent facilities and staff. http://www.campwidji.org/overnight-camp.html
