Speaking from experience, I used these guys last weekend: http://www.hanrob.com.au/ Just near the airport, and as I was only going away for 3 nights I thought that would be easier, and better than trusting a mate with my dog for that time. A little bit pricey, but I guess your paying for the convience also. 2 meals a day, some 'play time', and a bath on her pickup day. I mean who really knows how it was for her, but she was pretty happy when I came to pick her up! But yes as mentioned, 5 weeks is too long IMO. I probably wouldn't go any longer than 4 or 5 days if I could avoid it.
