  I don't know a local lawyer but michiganlegalhelp.org has a section on consumer issues - small claims. (Click on I have a small claims case, then on the right of the screen automated online affidavit...) This redirects you, but to a site that guides you thru the form process it may have some helpful information. (By guide I mean it is turbo tax like q&a) this site was designed by lawyers, judges and librarians to help DIY court stuff in the state of Michigan.
