  A dear neighbor (and close friend) of mine had a family member pass away out of state (her aunt-unexpectly). Her mother (aunt's sister) is newly battling cancer that is spread throughout her body. Neighbor's mom is not supposed to be around fresh flowers/plants. We are wanting to send something to our neighbor, maybe something to plant outside...My experience, plants coming from a florist usually don't transplant well outside. Any recommendations for a florist that would have hearty plants to plant for this rememberance?

  Try insteadofflowers.com or dinnerafare.com I've only used instead of flowers in the past and am told the food is spectacular. I usually use it for people with new babies but might not be a bad idea for this scenario. It's a unique gift
