  I was contacted by a friend of mine, who is a dog trainer too. Someone called her today from Pagosa Springs, wanting to surrender his 2 dogs or he will euthanize them:( they are a boxer mix and a pointer mix. They bit someone when the person tried to jump another dog( didn't get much info about the circumstances). Does anybody know of a no kill shelter at that area?

  I have a problem I am hoping someone might be able to help me with. I have two friends who are involved in animal rescues and unfortunately neither of them are available. I was just given information recently about a dog that may be trapped in a vacated home in Clinton Township. I know I can contact the local police to have the emergency rescue respond. Only problem is the Macomb County Animal Shelter has a high kill rate and this dog is young. If you have any other options I may be able to play out right now please let me know ASAP!!
