  We had this happen a couple weeks back. We used a power washing company to remove the ice dam (not covered by insurance), and homeowners came out to assess the damages for the soffit and drywall damage that's occurred. I think the power washing place is still taking calls - I know my coworker had the same issue with all the roofers being booked up.
