Biggest Indian or Pakistani grocery stores ITP or OTP? Where are the biggest Indian or Pakistani grocery stores ITP or OTP?
I'm looking for a brand of psyllium husk called "Sat Isabgol" that I used to buy back in New York.
Thanks in advance!
UPDATE
Mission accomplished. Patel Brothers in Decatur had the Sat Isabgol brand of psyllium husk. I would have paid $12.99 for whole husks from Wholefoods. The Sat Isabgol is $3.79 at Patel for about 3/4
the same quantity.

I buy my kala namak from India Grocers. Wonderful place if you are not actually Indian yourself. All the aunties at Patel Brothers usually try to herd me right to the frozen foods and stress me out ...I go to the one in Pineville very close to Patel Brothers ...
What type of Asian items are you looking for? Naperville has a large Indian population and has several grocery stores. H market is more Chinese/Korean focused I believe. In Schaumburg there is Patel brothers as mentioned above.
Hey does anybody know of somewhere that I can buy the mint sauce that you get at Indian restaurants back home? I have not seen it anywhere here. Thanks.

Patel Brothers is in the mall opposite Carolina Place Mall - near Jason's Deli. There is another Indian store (my preference) on South Boulevard near Pineville (near Monkey Joes - and it is also where Patel Brothers used to be). Here is a quick recipe to make some if it's what I think you are looking for. 250 ml/8 fl oz natural yoghurt ½ cucumber, grated or finely chopped large handful mint leaves, chopped large pinch salt ½-1 green chilli, de-seeded and finely chopped (optional) Wrap the grated cucumber in a tea towel and squeeze out any excess water.Mix together all the ingredients and serve chilled as an accompaniment to any curry or as a dip for poppadoms.
