I'm new to this site. My 18 month-old son has had his DtaP and MMR vaccines, and I have decided enough is enough. My husband is someone who trusts doctors blindly. My son's pediatrician wants to give my son the Hep B and Varicella shots on his next visits. I am going to decline. Luckily my pediatrician believes in free choice, but he will still voice his opinion. I want to fill out a California personal beliefs form. Hopefully this will still exist in the years to come. I'm looking at the form: basically you don't have to explain your beliefs, but get a physician to sign it, correct? Any tips or can anyone chime in with their experiences that live in a state that allow personal belief exemptions? I don't want any persuasions or guilt trips, and I'm hoping I don't have to go through this. My husband will know I mean business.
